Video: Supreme Court seeks SEBI suggestions to protect investors

During the hearing on the Hindenberg report, CJI DY Chandrachud evinced concern on the investors’ loss of crores of rupees due to a fall in Adani share prices. The Court sought suggestions from SEBI on protecting  Indian investors and improve the system.

President Droupadi Murmu approved the Supreme Court Collegium’s recommendation of appointing two more judges to the Supreme Court. The Court will now function with its full strength of 34 judges. 

The Supreme Court upheld the Bar Council of India’s All India Bar Examination for law graduates before they practice.
